Top Fish Seafood is known for filleting. The fish is hand filleted by skilled filleters. They are all trained in-house. The professionals of Top Fish Seafood cut the fillet perfectly from the fish, beautiful in shape, whether it is flat fish, or round fish.Top Fish Seafood is a real family business. The filleting and packing is largely done by family and friends of the Gnodde family.

History Top Fish
Top Fish Seafood was founded in 1992 by Douwe Gnodde. Douwe was a fisherman before he founded the company. Working in fish all his life, the quality of fish holds no secrets for him. Currently, the company is headed by the three sons Fokke, Peter and Jan-Marten. The owners work on the shop floor every day; no fillet goes out the door without one of the Gnoddes having seen it. In short, there is no better quality control.
Since 2001, Top Fish Seafood has been operating from a new building on the Breehorn in the industrial area of Urk. The building meets the strictest requirements in terms of quality and hygiene. It goes without saying that Top Fish Seafood has the BRC certificate with A-status.
In addition, the company considers sustainability important. By 2020, 224 solar panels were installed on the company’s roof.
